Mr. Sardarsinh Ladhubha Jadeja was born in 1947 in a non-business family. After SSC, Mr. Jadeja did a course in ITI machinist and joined M/s. New Bharat Engineering Works Pvt. Ltd., the company involved in manufacturing Machine Tools & Oil Engines. From an Apprentice, he rose to the level of a Forman in the same company. |

In 1976, Mr. Jadeja started a Repairing Workshop and bought a Lathe machine on installment basis. Having got introduced to the charms of being an entrepreneur, in 1979, he attended Entrepreneurship training, organized by the Centre for Entrepreneurship Development, Govt. of Gujarat and learnt about various critical aspects of business such as; production, sales, finance, marketing, etc. By 1989, Sardarsinh was an established businessman and had expanded boundaries in the business of reengineering and repair works. In this year itself, he converted his partnership company into a private limited company employing 75 workers/employees and entered into different product ranges such as; manufacturing of various types of machine tools, carbide tipped cutting tools for wood work and brass industries. During early nineties, Mr. Jadeja received orders in bulk from World Bank aidedtender of DGS & D, DGET, Railway COFMOW, Defence and other reputed companies. During this period of growth, his company’s productivity in brass increased by 8 times by introducing carbide tools technology and wood working industries by 20 times. Mr. Jadeja also gradually equipped himself to withstand competition from Italy, Germany and Japan and acquired a big market share of the country. |

The biggest moment of his life came in the year 2003, when he successfully took over 50-yearold, leading company of India in the field of manufacturing heavy duty machine tool and collaborated with WMC-Germany, M/s. New Bharat Engg. Works, Jamnagar, where he had started his career as an apprentice. In 2005, he took M/s. Energy Machine Tools Pvt. Ltd. Which was also associated with M/s. Bharat Engg. Works, manufacturing of heavy duty radial drilling machines. There was no looking back for Mr. Jadeja and the years 2005 and 2006 saw new companies in Rajkot and Jamnagar, as well. |

Today Mr. Jadeja, popularly known as ‘Motabhai’ (big brother), is the owner of eight different companies, with a turnover of around 20 crores and a workforce of 450 employees. An ISO 9001-2000 certified group has a long list of reputed companies, as its clients, like Reliance Group, Tata Group, Essar Ltd. COFMOW, New Delhi railway workshop, BHEL Defence Ordnance factory, etc. |

IEDRA, New Delhi presented ‘Bhartiya Udyog Ratna Award’ to Mr. Jadeja in the year 2000. Mr. Jadeja attributes his and his company’s growth to all the Director, family members, engineers, supervisors, workers, staff members and valuable customers.
